On Sunday I had to skip on the years best winsurfing day so far. 25-34 knots with not a cloud in the sky and I can't go because my face is having a waste disposal issue - wonderful. I was hoping to try out the strap-on GPS data-logger that my folks gave me for my birthday in January. My top speed on my old board was 22m/h (35km/h) so I'm intrigued about the performance on my smaller, lighter board in a bigger breeze.
Went to see a medical professional yesterday after being prodded to get myself some aid. The nurse did the old shirt off, listen to you breathing stuff and concluded that I had a viral infection and that I should have some Lemsip MAX and let it pass. Wonderful, thanks for that. Meanwhile, I'm probably going to need counciling when I try and ween myself off this Sinex addiction. Sweet, sweet Sinex.
I have a review of Dawn of War 2 in the works, so look out for that one. I really enjoyed that game. Something about stat based titles that really grip me at the moment.
Currently listening to No Regrets by Dope. A fine release if I'm honest, and not traditionally the sort of thing I listen to with any regularity. The guitar work is really solid and technical and the vocals are clear and powerful. Sure, the content is perhaps a little emo and self destructive but it is pleasent listening. Consider it.
